The Grant is designed to remove financial barriers that limit participation in global spaces where artistic practice, cultural exchange, and professional growth take place. It supports Nigerian creatives whose work and practice would benefit meaningfully from international exposure, learning, and exchange.

The Grant supports individual artistic and professional development, with a focus on international exposure, learning, and participation.

It is intended for Nigerian artists and cultural practitioners whose practice aligns with global artistic discourse and who can demonstrate how international engagement will contribute to their long-term creative and professional growth.

WHAT THE GRANT COVERS

The Grant does not fund production costs, exhibitions, or local projects.

The Allen Onyema Artistic Development Grant is open to all eligible applicants.
